Key responsibilities :

Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for bottles, tubes, jars, caps, labels, cartons, etc..

Vendor Management: Develop strong supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts, and monitor vendor performance.

Inventory & Stock: Monitor stock levels, coordinate with warehouses for replenishment, and prevent stockouts/overstocking.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, Marketing, Production, and Quality Assurance for new product launches and packaging feasibility.

Compliance & Quality: Ensure packaging meets regulatory standards (FSSAI, FDA) and internal quality/performance specs.

Cost & Market Analysis: Stay updated on packaging trends, new materials, and cost-saving opportunities.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records, purchase orders, supplier data, and generate reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce.
• Experience: Procurement in FMCG, Cosmetics, or Packaging. ( 5 years +)
• Skills: Negotiation, Vendor Management, ERP/SAP knowledge, MS Excel, Analytical, Problem-Solving, Communication.
• Good to Have: Knowledge of sustainable packaging, regulatory norms, import/export.
