Job Description

• Analyze and review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for electrical works to determine project requirements and scope.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and technical proposals for electrical tenders in compliance with client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather necessary data and ensure alignment on tender submissions.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential challenges or value engineering opportunities within tendered projects.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and technical information for electrical materials and services.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive tender documentation, ensuring all deadlines and compliance standards are met.
• Participate in pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and negotiate terms.
• Monitor and track tender status, providing regular updates and reports to management.
• Support contract handover and project mobilization processes upon successful award of tenders.
• Continuously update knowledge of market trends, pricing, and new technologies in electrical engineering and tendering practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in electrical tendering, estimation, or a similar engineering role.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in preparing technical and commercial proposals for large-scale projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and tendering/estimation software.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English
