About the Role

CASTECH Africa invites applications for the position of Quality Control / Quality Assurance Engineer.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake laboratory testing of construction chemical products and raw materials.
• Approve product batches in accordance with established specifications.
• Conduct and supervise concrete trial mixes with admixtures.
• Prepare and maintain precise records of test results, approvals, and reports.
• Ensure adherence to international quality standards (ASTM, EN, BS, ISO).
• Support the continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in QC/QA within construction chemicals, cement, or the concrete industry.
• Sound knowledge of concrete technology and admixture applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in technical reporting and documentation.
