Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing SLDs, General layout drawings, equipment arrangement, above/underground cable raceway design, grounding calculations, grounding grid layout, equipment earthing, lightning protection system layout and related calculations, equipment lists, BOQs.
• Perform Electrical Equipment’s sizing calculations (Cables, Transformers, Diesel Generators, Circuit breakers, etc...)
• Works within the Electrical discipline, ensuring compliance with Electrical design requirements, and company procedures.
• Coordinate and liaise with other disciplines (e.g. Civil/ Structural, mechanical, and Environmental Engineers) to design electrical installation.
• Ensure Compliance to the project specifications, standards, policies, and process.
• Evaluate supplier offers according to project specifications.
• Oversee the internal and/or external problem-solving required to reach suitable engineering decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 3+ years of working experience in primary design of substations and/or power plants.
• Knowledge of Industry/regulatory Codes and Standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, etc.).
• Working knowledge of ETAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, etc.
