Role Description

We’re looking for a Partnerships Associate to join our client’s team. If you're an energetic, proactive communicator with a passion for data and financial markets, while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will play a key role in sourcing new data vendor partnerships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating closely with internal teams to onboard and manage these partnerships. This position offers considerable growth potential within a rapidly expanding business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Sourcing & Outreach – Proactively source and reach out to potential data vendors, booking meetings and persuading them to onboard their data to the platform.
• Contract Negotiation – Manage contract redlining to ensure agreements are tailored to both vendor and company requirements.
• Onboarding Coordination – Collaborate with the R&D and marketing teams to ensure smooth data onboarding and co-marketing of partnerships.
• Relationship Management – Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with vendors, providing regular updates and gathering feedback to present to the CEO.
• High-Value Deal Management – Work directly with the CEO on strategic, high-value white-label agreements with key enterprise partners, including managing commission-based opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Business Development Experience – Ideally 1-2 years in a business development role, preferably in the data or financial sector.
• Educational Background – Minimum bachelor’s degree in STEM or Economics-related field.
• Industry Interest – Strong interest in data analytics, especially within the financial sector.
• Communication Skills – Highly personable, energetic, and skilled at engaging with external stakeholders.
• Detail-Oriented – Strong attention to detail, especially when managing technical information and legal documents.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Financial Data – Experience working with financial data and its applications in trading or market analysis is highly beneficial.
• Project Management Experience – Previous experience managing complex projects, particularly those involving technical or legal components, would be advantageous.
