We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimation Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, technical evaluations, and design verifications for fabrication and oil & gas projects. The role requires strong engineering knowledge, attention to detail, and familiarity with a wide range of fabrication works including structural steel, tanks, sheet metal, piping, and specialized lifting items.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and technical proposals for fabrication and oil & gas projects.

Review engineering drawings, perform design calculations, and verify technical requirements.

Develop estimation for a variety of works including:

Structural steel fabrication (warehouses, stores, and industrial structures).

Sheet metal works and stainless steel works.

Tank manufacturing and pressure-related components.

Lifting items such as spreader beams, man baskets, skids, and supports.

Piping works including pipe supports and related fabrication.

Bollards, cladding, machining, and painting works.

Coordinate with the engineering, production, and procurement teams to validate estimation inputs.

Conduct proof load testing and prepare technical documentation/reports.

Evaluate RFQs, technical specifications, and project requirements.

Maintain a database of cost standards, vendor prices, and past project references.

Provide technical and commercial support to the sales and business development team.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, HSE requirements, and company policies.
