Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement process, including purchase order creation on the system, tracking, and delivery coordination.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on market trends, supplier offerings, and competitive pricing.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish strong relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure availability of quality goods and services.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs and develop purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, standards, and legal regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the team to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, savings, and supplier performance to the manager.
- Regularly assess and review supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and company expectations.
- Work closely with other departments to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
The Job specifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration (or equivalent).
Technical Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent command of the English Language.
- Professional oral and written communication skills.
-Experience:
3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement.
-Competencies:
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and work both independently and in a team environment.
- Good planning and high accuracy level.
