Job Purpose:
To manage and coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for construction projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and compliance with quality and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive purchase requests and verify specifications with relevant departments.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers/subcontractors based on quality, price, and delivery time.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to achieve the best value for the company.
- Compare and analyze technical and commercial proposals.
- Monitor deliveries to ensure compliance with agreed schedules and specifications.
- Maintain and update the approved suppliers’ list.
- Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies and legal regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in construction or contracting.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
