Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Dispatcher role. The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing and coordinating transport schedules, negotiating freight rates, assigning loads to drivers, and ensuring timely deliveries. Additional responsibilities include maintaining communication with drivers, monitoring vehicle locations, resolving logistical challenges, and providing exceptional service to clients and truck drivers.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics coordination, load assignment, and transport route planning
• Strong negotiation skills for securing the best freight rates
• Proficient in communication and problem-solving for driver and client relations
• Familiarity with transport regulations and efficient scheduling practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for logistics and dispatch management
• Prior experience in truck dispatching or logistics is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics or a related field is a benefit
