Job Description
- Develop the overall L&D strategy and identify skill gaps by analyzing organizational needs and data.
- Design, produce, and implement training programs, materials, and initiatives, such as induction programs and employee learning plans.
- Manage the L&D budget, including forecasting costs and negotiating with external training vendors.
- Oversee and coordinate the delivery of training through various methods, such as e-learning, workshops, coaching, and mentoring.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, analyze results, and report on L&D performance.
- Collaborate with business leaders, HR teams, and line managers to ensure training aligns with business objectives.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a learning and development or organizational development role.
- Expertise in creating effective learning materials and activities.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Ability to analyze data to measure effectiveness and identify needs.
- Strong skills in managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels.
- Experience managing teams and developing others, particularly in coaching line managers.
- Often requires a bachelor's degree in a related field like HR, psychology, or business.
- Familiarity with the precious metals or financial services industry is a plus.
