Project Management Intern (6-Month Internship)
Location: Bawsher, Muscat (On-site)
Duration: 6 months
Department: Project Management
Reporting to: Projects Management Lead
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Project Management Intern to support our Project Management Department. You’ll help coordinate day-to-day project activities, maintain technical documentation, support stakeholder communication, and assist with administrative workflows related to contractor/consultant registration and project delivery. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving construction management environment.
1) Project coordination
- Track timelines, milestones, and action items across active projects
- Support meeting scheduling, prepare minutes, and follow up on agreed actions
- Maintain structured project files and ensure documents stay current
2) Technical & field support
- Compile and validate project data, reports, and contractor submissions
- Support document and drawing review workflows and progress tracking
- Assist in basic quality-control documentation and site monitoring reporting
3) Communication & reporting
- Prepare project briefs, slide decks, and progress updates
- Draft internal/external communications for stakeholders
- Support monthly reporting and simple dashboards (progress, risks, issues)
4) Administrative support
- Assist with registration documentation for contractors and consultants
- Coordinate with internal teams to complete compliance/admin requirements
- Maintain logs of approvals, registrations, and related correspondence
- End-to-end exposure to project delivery workflows
- Real construction documentation discipline (tracking, version control, approvals)
- Stronger reporting, stakeholder communication, and coordination skills
- How multidisciplinary teams operate under deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to juggle tasks
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); PM tools are a plus
- Proactive attitude, coachable, and reliable with follow-through
