Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate allocation of costs and proper financial documentation.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key trends, variances, and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company standards.

Job Requirements
- IFRS Certificate Holder.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (local and international).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate accounting teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in the healthcare or service industry is an advantage.
