Job Description
- Develop detailed architectural designs and technical drawings in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and resolve on-site issues.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp) to create accurate models and visualizations.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project objectives, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback.
- Ensure all architectural solutions meet local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, cost estimates, and material selection.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and updates on design progress.
- Support the continuous improvement of design processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in architectural engineering or design roles.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Experience in preparing technical documentation and project reports.
