Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a junior Corporate Lawyer with up to two years of experience to support the legal team in drafting corporate documents, translating legal materials, preparing memos, and assisting with day-to-day corporate and commercial matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to develop expertise in corporate law.
 

Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and revise contracts and corporate documents (e.g., NDAs, service agreements, resolutions, policies).

Translate legal and corporate documents accurately (e.g., English ↔ local language) while maintaining legal meaning and tone.

Prepare legal memos, summaries, and internal reports on regulatory and compliance matters.

Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, and regulatory topics.

Assist in due diligence for transactions, compliance checks, and corporate filings.

Support senior lawyers with corporate governance tasks, including meeting minutes, board materials, and filings.

Maintain organized case files and update internal databases and document management systems.

Communicate professionally with internal departments, external counsel, and government agencies as needed.

Ensure all work complies with company policies and relevant legal requirements.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); admission to practice law is preferred.

max. 2 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, ideally in corporate/commercial work.

Strong legal drafting skills and excellent command of written and spoken English and [insert other language, if applicable].

Accuracy in document translation with attention to legal terminology.

Solid research, analytical, and organizational abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and document-management tools.

Ability to work under deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
