Job Description
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision components for precious metal products.
- Develop and optimize CNC machining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
- Oversee the operation and programming of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machines used in the highly precise forming and manufacturing of gold and silver bars and molds.
- Ensure that the dimensions and tolerances of the final products strictly comply with the required engineering specifications for precious metal alloys.
- Develop and execute daily and periodic Preventive Maintenance schedules for CNC machines to ensure operational continuity, efficiency, and minimize downtime.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any machine malfunctions or faults and propose quick and effective solutions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize engineering and operational processes to increase production speed and product accuracy.
- Document process changes, machine settings, and production data for traceability and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in a full-time, office-based arrangement.
