Currently we are looking to hire QS Engineer to Join our team in Cairo.

The QS Engineer is integral to the planning, budgeting, and overall financial control of construction projects. They work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure that costs are managed effectively, and contracts are adhered to. This role demands both technical and analytical skills to provide accurate cost planning and control.

Responsibilities

• Take off all the project elements/items using a take-off application (AutoCAD, Plan swift, Revit, …)
• Liaise with a variety of other teams and help to keep a project on track.
• Prepare project Materials quantity.
• Liaise with site managers and subcontractors.
• Assist in document preparation, including budgets, contracts, and tenders.
• Keep track of materials and order more when required.
• Collect and review project payments supported documents.
• Prepare a daily report for all tasks under his responsibility and provide it to the direct manager

Qualifications & Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field
• Aware of Construction Technical knowledge.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Organizing skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Great networking skills.
• Strong in MS Office.
