Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Corporate Lawyer based in 6th of October. The Corporate Lawyer will oversee legal aspects of the firm’s corporate clients, including preparing and reviewing legal documents, negotiating contracts, and providing legal advice on compliance, corporate governance, and risk management. The role includes representing clients in matters related to mergers and acquisitions, arbitration, litigation, and intellectual property. Supporting the needs of international companies expanding in Egypt and working with expatriates on their legal requirements are also key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and reviewing complex agreements
- Specialized knowledge of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and compliance regulations
- Expertise in arbitration, litigation, and dispute resolution processes
- Proficiency in intellectual property law, including trademarks, patents, and copyright protection
- Ability to provide legal services related to expatriate and immigrant needs, such as work permits, visas, and tax matters
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse clients
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and relevant certifications; an LL.M. or other advanced law qualifications is preferred
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required
- 5+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably in the Middle East or a similar jurisdiction
