Role & Impact

You’ll be part of a development team working on core backend features, system integrations, and performance improvements. The work you build will be deployed to production and used by real users — with guidance when needed, and full ownership when earned.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend features using modern Laravel practices

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs

- Debug, refactor, and improve legacy code to current Laravel standards

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code

- Collaborate using Git (GitHub)

- Stay updated with Laravel ecosystem releases and tools

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience

- Laravel foundation.

- knowledge of PHP and MySQL

- Comfortable with testing (Pest or PHPUnit)

- Able to read documentation, debug independently, and ship features

- Open to AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)

- Ownership mindset and problem-solving attitude

Bonus Skills

- Knowledge of Blade, Livewire, Filament, or Vue.js

- Understanding of Queues, Jobs, and Scheduled Tasks

- Familiarity with GitHub Workflows / CI/CD
