Job Description

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mechanical engineering sector to drive sales growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their technical requirements and providing tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to demonstrate the value and application of products and services.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure client specifications are met and projects are executed successfully.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts, and documentation to track progress and inform strategic decisions.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance company visibility.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the sales process.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 0 to 3 years of experience in mechanical sales, technical sales, or a related engineering role.
  • Proven ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
