Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate all mechanical site activities to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documentation to guide on-site execution.
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and fire protection.
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and quality requirements.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Identify and address potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure all mechanical works adhere to relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Support procurement processes by reviewing material submittals and coordinating deliveries.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and status updates as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation, and commissioning processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
- Proficiency in using engineering and project management software.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
