*** About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in both manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality, reliable software.

***Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.

- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.

- Participate in sprint planning, smoke testing, and regression cycles.

- Maintain detailed test documentation, reports, and metrics.

- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and test coverage.

***Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).

- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Solid understanding of API testing and SQL database validation.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

***Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
