Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated writer to cover the Audiovisual industry in Europe, with a particular focus on Germany, UK, and the Nordics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pitching and writing 3-4 articles per month, showcasing their expertise and understanding of the regionally specific AV landscape. Pay rate is $150-$250 USD per article based on word count and/or complexity of subject.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Development: Research and pitch article ideas on a weekly basis, focusing on the EMEA region’s AV industry, including legislation, market trends, and notable news stories.

• Writing: Produce 3-4 high-quality articles per month that provide valuable insights and information to our audience. Articles should be well-researched, engaging, and relevant to the EMEA AV market.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial team to ensure content aligns with our brand voice and audience expectations. Receive feedback and make necessary revisions.

• Trend Analysis: Stay informed about the latest developments, news, and trends in the AV industry to create timely and relevant content.

Qualifications:

• Must be located in EMEA region.
• Proven experience in writing and journalism, preferably within the AV industry or related fields.
• Strong understanding of the EMEA region and its specific AV market dynamics.
• Exceptional research, writing, and editing skills, with an ability to convey complex topics clearly and engagingly.
• Ability to generate unique content ideas and work independently to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with content management systems and digital publishing platforms is a plus.
