Who we are
Ellty is a secure document sharing and analytics platform that helps startups and VCs manage the entire fundraising lifecycle. We're building the go-to virtual data room and investor communication platform.
We're a small but ambitious team serving thousands of founders, investors, and businesses worldwide. Our platform tracks how investors interact with pitch decks, manages due diligence documents, and provides page-by-page analytics that help founders close deals faster.
The opportunity
You'll work directly with our founder as a tech-savvy operations specialist who can handle absolutely anything that comes up. This isn't a specialized role - you'll be a true generalist who can switch between writing blog posts in the morning, troubleshooting customer issues in the afternoon, and researching competitors in the evening.
Whatever the business needs, you'll figure it out. Need social media posts written? You'll write them. Customer complaining about a bug? You'll investigate and document it. New feature needs testing? You'll test it thoroughly. Marketing campaign needs setting up? You'll handle it.
This is how you learn every aspect of running a SaaS business - by actually doing it all.
This is a contract position with potential to become full-time as we grow.
What you'll be doing
Everything the business needs, including:
Writing blog posts, social media content, and marketing copy
Responding to customer support tickets and handling complex technical issues
Conducting keyword research and SEO optimization
Setting up email marketing campaigns and automation sequences
Testing new features and documenting bugs for the development team
Analyzing user data and creating performance reports
Screening job candidates and coordinating interviews
Onboarding new customers and team members
Managing social media accounts and community engagement
Processing refunds, subscription changes, and account issues
Creating help documentation and user guides
Researching competitors and market opportunities
Setting up new tools and managing integrations
Quality assurance testing across the platform
Managing contractor payments and HR documentation
The reality: Your tasks will change daily based on what the business needs most. Some days you might spend 6 hours writing content, other days you're deep in customer support, and sometimes you're setting up new processes from scratch.
Skills you'll develop
Content creation
Customer support and technical troubleshooting
Marketing automation and analytics
Quality assurance and bug reporting
SEO and keyword research
HR processes and recruitment
Project management and process optimization
SaaS tools mastery across multiple categories
Who you are
Must-haves:
Excellent written English - you'll be writing customer-facing content daily
Technical curiosity and ability to learn new tools quickly
Experience with common business software (Slack, Notion, GitHub, Figma, Claude, marketing tools)
Self-motivated problem solver who doesn't need constant direction
Comfortable switching between completely different types of tasks
Nice-to-haves:
Previous experience with SaaS or tech companies
Customer support experience
Basic understanding of marketing and SEO
Portfolio showing diverse skill set and adaptability
What we offer
Competitive salary: 9300 - 23000 EGP / month (paid weekly in USD)
Conversion to full-time: Many contractors move to permanent roles with benefits
Premium tools: Access to professional marketing, analytics, and productivity tools
Skill development: Learn everything about running a SaaS business
Fully remote: Work from anywhere with flexible hours
This role is perfect for you if:
You're a natural generalist who enjoys variety in your work
You can write well, think analytically, and solve technical problems
You don't mind jumping between marketing, support, HR, and operations tasks
You want to understand how every part of a SaaS business works
You take ownership and see problems through to completion
You're building skills to eventually run your own business or join a startup
This role is NOT for you if:
You want to specialize in just one area (marketing only, support only, etc.)
You need detailed instructions for every task
You're not comfortable with writing customer-facing content
You can't handle rapid context switching between different types of work
You're looking for part-time work (we need full commitment)
You prefer established companies with rigid job descriptions
