About the Role:

This is a full-time role, office based in Zahraa Al-Maadi, Cairo.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Creative Director with a strong foundation in Arts or Applied Arts and a proven track record in the advertising agency space.

This role requires an individual with both creative vision and leadership skills to drive innovative campaigns for diverse clients. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of conceptual design, strategy, and a deep understanding of branding and advertising.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership: Lead the creative team, providing guidance, inspiration, and direction. Ensure that the creative output aligns with client objectives and brand guidelines while pushing the boundaries of creativity.
  • Campaign Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative advertising campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, social, video, etc.) for both new and existing clients.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Foster a collaborative and positive environment, nurturing junior designers, art directors, and other team members. Provide mentorship and growth opportunities to help elevate the team’s overall skill set.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during the creative process, understanding their needs, offering strategic insights, and presenting creative concepts. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Conceptualisation: Oversee the development of high-level concepts for campaigns, ensuring that the creative vision meets strategic goals and exceeds expectations.
  • Quality Control: Review all creative output before it is presented to clients or produced, ensuring the highest standards of design, creativity, and execution are maintained.
  • Brand Strategy: Work closely with account managers, strategists, and other departments to develop brand strategies and ensure that creative work supports brand objectives and drives results.
  • Stay Current: Keep up to date with industry trends, design technologies, and cultural movements to keep the agency’s work fresh, innovative, and relevant


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Applied Arts, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in creative fields are a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a creative role at an advertising agency, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership position as a Senior Art Director or Creative Lead.
  • Creative Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful campaigns across different platforms. Experience in integrated campaigns is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.). Understanding of UX/UI design principles is an advantage.
