Refinery Engineer - Vegetable Oil

Job Summary

The Refinery Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the vegetable oil refining process to ensure high efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. The engineer will provide technical expertise to the operations team, troubleshoot process issues, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, with specific experience in an edible or vegetable oil refinery.

Technical skills:

• Strong understanding of vegetable oil processing, including degumming, bleaching, and deodorizing.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting process operations and equipment.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems is often required.
