Job Title: Mathematics PhD Student / Post-Doc / Early Career Researcher

About the Role:
Join a leading frontier AI research lab to help train large language models on advanced mathematical reasoning. This short-term, high-impact project is designed for PhD students, post-docs, and early career researchers to push AI capabilities by developing, evaluating, and providing feedback on complex mathematical problems. Work remotely, set your own schedule, and contribute directly to cutting-edge AI research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design novel, graduate-level problems in pure and applied mathematics
- Evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, clarity, and rigor
- Identify logical gaps, incomplete reasoning, or insufficiently-rigorous proofs
- Provide structured feedback and generate complete, correct solutions
- Maintain the highest standards of mathematical precision and difficulty
Qualifications / Skills Required:
- Current PhD student, post-doc, or recent PhD graduate (<5 years) in pure or applied mathematics
- Expertise in at least one field: algebra, geometry, combinatorics, number theory, analysis, probability, or related areas
- High proficiency in LaTeX for writing and formatting mathematical documents
- Strong written communication and ability to articulate complex reasoning
- Detail-oriented, independent, and disciplined work approach
Salary Range:
- $80/hr – Early career professors at top US/UK institutions
- $70/hr – Post-docs and senior PhD students at top global institutions
- $60/hr – 1st and 2nd year PhD students
