Job Summary:
The role is focusing on the connection between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into actionable solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes, systems, and workflows; create detailed documentation including business requirements documents, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Develop and implement best practices for business analysis processes, ensuring consistent, efficient, and high-quality deliverables across projects.
- Foster a continuous improvement culture by promoting the adoption of innovative business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean).
- Lead the development of standardized templates, documentation practices, and methodologies for business requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
- Gather and document business requirements through meetings, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements documents and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders (e.g., product managers, department heads) and the IT department to ensure clear communication of requirements and priorities.
- Lead and facilitate requirements workshops, meetings, and interviews to understand business needs and objectives.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to business requirements and ensure they are properly managed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively address any gaps or misalignments between business and IT teams, ensuring that solutions are delivered as planned and meet expectations.
- Mitigate risks by maintaining clear documentation, fostering open communication, and anticipating potential roadblocks.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis or IT-related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing business requirements,
- Experience working in industries that require complex technology solutions.
- Proven track record of delivering technology projects that align with business goals and drive operational improvements.
