Job Description

Location: In-Kingdom

Department: Operations Manager

Reports To: Site Supervisor / Project Manager

Job Summary: A Coater is responsible for applying protective or decorative coatings, paints, or finishes to surfaces, materials, or products. The role ensures that coating processes meet quality standards and project specifications while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: - Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or applying primers to ensure proper adhesion. - Apply coatings, paints, or protective finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or automated equipment. - Mix and prepare coating materials according to specifications and project requirements. - Inspect finished surfaces to ensure uniformity, quality, and adherence to standards. - Maintain and clean coating tools and equipment. - Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals, paints, and solvents. - Report any defects or inconsistencies to supervisors and take corrective actions. - Maintain records of materials used, work completed, and quality inspections.

Qualifications / Skills: - Proven experience as a Coater, Painter, or Finishing Operator. - Knowledge of various coating materials, methods, and equipment. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications. - Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes. - Physical stamina and dexterity for standing, bending, and handling materials. - Understanding of safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Working Conditions: - Work may be indoors or outdoors depending on the project. - Exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals; PPE required. - Frequent standing, bending, and repetitive motions. - May require overtime or shift work depending on production schedules.
