About the job:
We’re looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist experienced in Oracle Fusion OTBI and BI Publisher. The role involves developing and maintaining BI reports and analytics to support Finance and Supply Chain teams. You’ll be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, optimizing report performance, and translating business needs into effective analytical solutions.
The vacancy will be offshore based in favor of Samir Group - KSA
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom BI Publisher reports, data models, and templates (RTF / Excel / XSL).
- Build and maintain OTBI dashboards and analyses using subject areas and custom data sets.
- Customize and extend seeded (standard) Oracle Fusion reports safely without impacting core functionalities.
- Implement bursting logic for automated report distribution (email, FTP, SFTP).
Optimize report performance through SQL tuning and data model improvements.
- Collaborate with Finance, SCM, and HCM teams to translate business requirements into actionable analytics.
- Manage deployment across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments following Oracle best practices.
- Ensure data security and access control for sensitive reports (e.g., payroll, financial data).
- Troubleshoot report execution, delivery failures, and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle Fusion / Cloud BI technical development.
-Hands-on experience with:
- BI Publisher (data models, templates, bursting)
- OTBI / Oracle Analytics Cloud
- SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle DB schema knowledge required)
- Fusion modules: Finance, SCM, Procurement
- Experience customizing seeded CED reports and developing new reports from scratch.
- Knowledge of Fusion Data Model (VOs, tables) and subject areas.
- Familiarity with performance tuning, indexing, and data validation.
- Strong understanding of report security, delivery, and scheduling.
