About the Role:


We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Helpdesk Specialist to join our team in Cairo. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to all employees, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems, networks, and hardware across the office. This role requires someone hands-on, resourceful, and customer-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.



Key Responsibilities:


Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related queries (hardware, software, and network).

Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently (in-person, via phone, or remotely).

Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other peripherals.

Set up and troubleshoot user accounts, email access, and system permissions.

Support internal systems, including Windows, Microsoft 365, VPN, and network connectivity.

Coordinate with external IT vendors when necessary.

Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions using the ticketing system.

Ensure all equipment and software are updated, secured, and compliant with company standards.

Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes — system setup and access management.

Contribute to IT documentation, policies, and user guides.



Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in a similar IT support or helpdesk role.

Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.

Experience with hardware troubleshooting (laptops, printers, routers).

Good understanding of cybersecurity basics and data protection.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).



Preferred:


Basic knowledge of cloud systems (Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive).

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or ITIL Foundation.
