This role is embedded within a long-range travel company specializing in luxury and cultural cruise experiences along the Nile River. The company caters to international travelers seeking multi-day itineraries that include accommodations, excursions, and personalized services.
Key Responsibilities
- Reservation Oversight
- Manage all cruise bookings, including cabins.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to align promotions with available inventory.
- Client Interaction
- Handle direct communication with travel agents, tour operators, and individual clients.
- Provide detailed itinerary information, pricing, and availability.
- Resolve booking issues, cancellations, and special requests with professionalism.
- System & Data Management
- Maintain and update reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus, or custom CRM platforms) (Quarter)
- Generate reports on booking performance, occupancy rates, and revenue forecasts.
- Ensure data accuracy across platforms and compliance with company policies.
- Cross-Department Coordination
- Liaise with cruise operations, hospitality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Collaborate with finance for billing and payment reconciliation.
- Work with marketing to support seasonal campaigns and group bookings.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 2–5 years in travel or cruise reservation management, preferably in luxury travel.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reservation software, Excel, and CRM tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Languages: Fluency in English; Arabic and other languages are a plus.
