Position Overview

We are seeking a QA Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The QA Tester will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers and product teams to deliver error-free applications. This role requires strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of the software testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Execute manual testing and document results in detail.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Identify, log, and track defects using test management and bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.
• Provide clear and detailed defect reports with validation steps.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure testing activities are aligned with project timelines and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages is an advantage.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
