1. Implementing and updating specific and overall project mechanical engineering designs, drawings, specifications and bills of quantities for multiple complex design projects and construction projects.

2. Assists the MEP Team Lead (Cairo) on matters that cross between interfacing elements, projects.

3. Work proactively, constructively, and fairly with all parties to ensure the successful execution of duties,

4. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as directed, and as may be appropriate.

Requirements

· Minimum 5 to 10 years (depending on the seniority of the role) of related work experience in a relevant engineering background, and previous experience in design drafting using Revit and AutoCAD,

· design experience on large complex building projects is required.

· Bachelors Degree in mechanical engineering,

· Registration with the competent Engineering Authority (licensed to practice mechanical engineering design in Egypt),

· Specific training & qualifications in mechanical engineering analysis and design including use of specific software for HVAC, plumbing, etc.

· Good level of competence in use of Revit, AutoCAD and other drafting software,

· Excellent working knowledge of internationally-accepted mechanical engineering, design industry principles and practices / safety / quality systems.

· Excellent knowledge of current mechanical engineering technology.

· Able to work with minimal supervision.

· Excellent problem solving, numeracy and English literacy skills.

· Clear verbal and written communication skills.

· Uses diplomacy and tact in discussions with other parties.

· Contributes to team building and enhancing morale across the team / project.

· Promotes equality and recognises diversity in managing people.

· Understands local and international multi-cultural aspects of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
