Job Description

Develop accurate raw material and spare parts forecasts based on production schedules and historical usage data. Maintain and update material planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, reorder points) to ensure planning accuracy. Monitor actual consumption versus plan and adjust forecasts proactively to address deviations or production changes. Align raw materials planning with insulation production capacity and coordinate spare parts planning in collaboration with the project manager Review production schedules change regularly, adjusting material plans and forecasts to ensure uninterrupted operations. Maintain accurate records of material requirements, forecasts, inventory levels, and usage trends for planning analysis. Plan optimal inventory levels in coordination with warehouse teams to ensure efficient storage utilization, prevent excess stock, and avoid stockouts. Analyze usage trends to identify opportunities for improving material usage efficiency and reducing waste. Issue timely material requirement plans to procurement with sufficient lead times for order placement. Track and evaluate raw material performance (availability, adherence to plan, consumption accuracy) and report findings to planning management. Monitor material readiness for upcoming production orders and communicate any risks of shortages early to stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or related field such as Industrial Engineering)
• 1–3 years of experience in material planning and inventory control (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
