Job Description
• Ensure mechanical maintenance discipline 24/7 three shifts.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical breakdowns and issues as quickly as possible to minimize production downtime.
• Perform regular inspections and testing of mechanical systems, components, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Carry out or lead preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on various maintenance equipment as per procedures and in accordance with OEM requirement.
• Monitor the performance of mechanical machinery and plan predictive maintenance to prevent unscheduled breakdowns.
• Optimize overall maintenance costs & OEE.
• Document the root cause of equipment failures and recommend preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
• Lead and participate in mechanical upgrade and improvement projects, including the installation of new electrical systems and machinery.
• Contribute and drive continuous improvement of maintenance resources “Manpower, Machine & Materials”.
• Estimate manpower requirements, maintenance times, material requirements, and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions
• Keep a record of all stock and supplies, including the company’s mechanical equipment
• Working in collaboration with the Production, Quality, and Operations teams to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process
• Ensure that all mechanical gadgets and instruments are switched off during work daily
• Ensures application of maintenance systems accurately, timely data entry and reporting.
• Participates in technical audits and compliance assessments and follows up on closure of remedial action plans.
• Provide technical training from time to time to subordinates to develop their skills.
• Prepare a daily maintenance report to be approved by the maintenance manager.
• Assessing need of spare parts
• Undertake any other tasks or duties as required by your line manager.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or energy sector environment.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and systems.
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance in maintenance operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work onsite and respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.
