Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Gypsum Board Dryer Operator at Knauf Egypt, located in Suez. The Gypsum Board Dryer Operator will be responsible for overseeing the operation of gypsum board drying equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality. Daily tasks include monitoring dryer settings, performing routine maintenance, adjusting controls to regulate temperature and airflow, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The operator will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and collaborate with other team members to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and maintaining industrial drying equipment preferably in Gypsum/Cement/Glass/Steel Sectors.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations relevant to the role
• Basic mechanical and technical skills for troubleshooting equipment issues
• Ability to monitor and adjust controls to regulate temperature and airflow
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• A2 level in English or above.
• Good knowledge to HMI systems (Advanced SCADA ex. Win CC.)
• Ability to work on-site in Suez
• Previous experience in the construction material manufacturing industry.
• Have an industrial technical Diploma (Electric or Operation Devision) ,or BSc in industrial education; Electric or mechanical Dev. - production Sector.
