Position Overview:

We are seeking a Frontend Principal Engineer with deep expertise in Angular and modern web technologies to shape and scale our frontend architecture. This role goes beyond team-level leadership, driving technical strategy, architecture, and cross-organization influence.

You will play a pivotal role in defining long-term frontend practices, enabling scalability, and ensuring alignment with business and product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Define and own the frontend architecture (micro frontends, modular design, migration strategies) across squads.

✅ Serve as the Angular subject-matter expert and guide architectural/product decisions.

✅ Partner with design leadership to deliver pixel-perfect, user-first experiences.

✅ Lead Nx monorepo strategy to support scalability, modularity, and cross-squad collaboration.

✅ Champion frontend performance, security, and accessibility standards.

✅ Improve developer productivity with shared libraries, tooling, and automation.

✅ Facilitate integration alignment between frontend and backend services.

✅ Mentor Tech Leads and senior engineers, raising the technical bar org-wide.

Qualifications:

🎓 BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or similar.

💻 8+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in people management or technical leadership.

🚀 Experience in agile, fast-paced environments (fintech, banking, or digital platforms preferred).

🔧 Strong knowledge of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, Agile, Microservices, Cloud-Native).

🌐 Experience with full-stack environments (Angular, Java/Kotlin, Kubernetes) is a plus.

🗣️ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

🌍 Fluency in Arabic and English.
