Job Description

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in production lines, control panels, and automated systems.
• Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations during maintenance activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures to enhance equipment reliability.
• Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and production staff on electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment failures and increase efficiency.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, upgrades, or equipment installations as needed.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering 
• 1-3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, and industrial automation.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
