Roles & Responsibilities
- Allocate jobs to technicians based on skills, workload, and availability.
- Ensure all jobs are started on time and progressed according to schedule.
- Monitor workshop loading and ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Track repair and service jobs in real time, ensuring timely completion.
- Identify delays or bottlenecks and take corrective action.
- Update the Service Advisor / Customer Service team about job status.
- Ensure technicians follow manufacturer standards and company policies.
- Conduct quality checks on completed jobs before delivery.
- Enforce health & safety practices in the workshop.
- Act as a bridge between Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts Department.
- Coordinate with Parts Department to ensure timely availability of parts.
- Support Service Advisors in explaining technical details to customers if needed.
- Maintain accurate job cards and records in the system.
- Report workshop performance, productivity, and efficiency to management.
