Quality Assurance Specialist

We are a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses. Our industry stakeholders in over 150 countries have access to a global platform of high-quality vision care products, including Essilor brand with Varilux, Crizal, Eyezen, Stellest, and Transitions.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing, maintaining, and implementing a Company Quality Management System according to ISO standards.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and managing customer feedback.
  • Maintaining product and service compliance with applicable regulations and requirements.
  • Monitoring and improving process capabilities with support from process experts, maintaining communication with stakeholders and supporting regional quality networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing compliance of local Quality Management Systems with group standards, ISO 13485, and other requirements.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and raising awareness at all levels.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring quality policies and procedures.
  • Organizing and optimizing PDCA Quality Action Plan reviews.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators and disseminating global objectives.
  • Communicating effectively on quality issues with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Gathering market insights, identifying trends, and addressing weaknesses.
  • Monitoring customer feedback and complaints, collaborating on analysis and action plans to improve satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of experience managing Quality Management Systems based on ISO standards (ISO 13485, 9001, 14000).
  • Understanding of environmental regulations and occupational health & safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and problem-solving tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
  • A customer-centric mindset with leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills in English.
