Job Description

• Supervise and oversee mechanical installations,  and commissioning activities on construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within overall project timelines.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to guide site activities and resolve any discrepancies.
• Monitor the quality of mechanical works, conducting regular inspections and ensuring adherence to industry codes and company standards.
• Manage subcontractors and site personnel, providing technical guidance and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, proposing effective solutions to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.
• Ensure all mechanical site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in the procurement and verification of mechanical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and status updates to senior management and clients.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 4 to 7 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering roles in construction.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple site activities simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in using engineering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of workplace safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to work full-time and on-site, adapting to dynamic project requirements.
• Experience in managing subcontractors and site personnel is highly desirable.
