Job Description
- Develop and execute category strategies to drive sales growth and profitability across pastry, bakery, and related product lines.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and optimize product assortments.
- Collaborate with procurement, marketing, and operations teams to ensure effective product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor category performance metrics, including sales, margins, and inventory turnover, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and product quality for assigned categories.
- Lead cross-functional projects to introduce new products and enhance existing offerings based on market insights.
- Manage category budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess product presentation, gather feedback, and ensure compliance with merchandising standards.
- Train and support store teams on category management best practices and product knowledge.
- Prepare and present category reviews and recommendations to senior management.
