AlWatania Information Systems is seeking a proactive GCP DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a vital part in bridging the gap between development and operations by utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to automate and enhance our development processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with a significant focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GCP services and related tools.
• Develop automation scripts and infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions for deploying and managing cloud resources.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and implement best practices for scalability and efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with development teams to streamline workflows and improve release cycles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the development and production environments swiftly.
• Ensure security best practices are followed while handling cloud resources and data.
• Document cloud architecture, operational procedures, and incident responses.
• Stay current with GCP updates and emerging DevOps tools and practices.

Skills

• Strong background in CI/CD methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build).
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and compliance standards.
