Internship Description
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for custom fabrication projects, ensuring precision and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, designers, and product managers, to translate client requirements into innovative mechanical solutions.
- Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
- Oversee the prototyping and testing of mechanical designs, analyzing results and iterating to achieve optimal performance.
- Integrate advanced 3D printing and fabrication technologies into the design process to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed mechanical solutions.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Support the transition from prototype to production, working closely with manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Document design processes, revisions, and test results for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging trends and advancements in mechanical engineering, fabrication, and additive manufacturing.
