Job summary

The Planning Engineer plays a pivotal role in the construction and building industry, particularly in managing and coordinating project schedules to ensure timely completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (using tools like Primavera P6 & MS Project)
• Track project performance against the baseline schedule; provide early warning of delays and propose mitigation strategies
• Generate and present regular progress reports, S-curves, critical path analysis, and earned value management (EVM) data to stakeholders
• Coordinate with project managers and teams to forecast labor, material, and equipment requirements

Skills
