Job summary

The Planning Engineer in association with the resident engineer shall develop the Project execution plan considering the proper engineering techniques and milestone sequences for the Project.

Responsibilities

• Set targets for activities based on each project activity and ensure it meets DMs specifications and requirements.
• Estimate timescales and costs using specialized design software packages (Primavera).
• Monitor day-to-day work progress for the Project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports by swiftly communicating potential progress delays or project slippages.
• Track and analyze field results.
• Compare planned and actual progress and report any differences to their lead project manager.
• Study the impact of alternative approaches.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree from a recognized university and a civil engineering background.
• Knowledge and work experience of not less than ten years in design and construction programming/planning of similar projects.
