Job Title: Infrastructure Development Manager

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled Project Engineer to perform technical, organizational, and supervisory roles on construction projects. This individual will be responsible for setting out and determining the location for above and underground infrastructural installations involved in construction operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Technical Advisor: Provide guidance and expertise to subcontractors, crafts people, and operatives on construction sites.
• Set Out and Level Sites: Ensure accurate site marking and layout according to project plans and specifications.
• Verify Plans and Drawings: Check accuracy of calculations and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Oversee Material Selection: Ensure that all materials used and work performed meet project specifications.
• Agree Prices and Propose Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective solutions and proposals for projects.
• Manage Contract Documents: Interpret and implement contract design documents supplied by clients or architects.
• Liaise with Consultants: Ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
• Day-to-Day Site Management: Supervise and monitor site labor force and subcontractors, planning work, and efficiently organizing plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
• Oversee Quality Control: Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to health and safety standards on site.
• Prepare Reports: Document project progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Resolve Technical Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges that may arise during projects.
