Job summary
The Membership Specialist will provide a welcoming experience for members and guests. They are responsible for driving non-members into the gym and delivering customer services to exceed personal revenue targets.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of sales practices and techniques.
- General understanding of the Fitness Industry.
- Ability to work with computers.
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Independent, self-starter with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities
- External marketing, promotions, and prospecting for lead generation.
- Conduct off-site promotions, distribute passes, and build local merchant relationships.
- Collect leads through enrollment and member referrals.
- Book membership appointments and meet or exceed monthly goals.
- Conduct tours for all guests and present membership options.
- Follow up with newly enrolled members and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a clean and operational facility.
- Assist in retaining members who request to cancel their membership.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Attend mandatory monthly and daily meetings.
- Interact with club staff and communicate with members, guests, and community vendors.
