Job Description
We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and pet-loving Customer Service Associate to join our team in SmartPet Al-Rai shop. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping schedule grooming appointments, welcoming pets for their services, assisting customers with purchases, and ensuring every client leaves with a smile. This position combines customer service, sales, and pet care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in-person and over the phone.
- Schedule grooming appointments and coordinate with groomers.
- Receive pets for grooming services, ensuring proper intake procedures.
- Answer questions about products, services, and pet care.
- Operate the register and process customer transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and retail area.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and find effective solutions.
- Assist in restocking shelves and merchandising products.
Skills
- Arabic Speaking, (Kuwaiti Arabic is preferable)
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Strong communication skills — both in-person and on the phone.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working around animals of all sizes and temperaments.
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and point-of-sale systems.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Prior retail, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred (pet industry experience a plus).
