Job summary

CBS is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using scheduling software and techniques.
• Analyze project requirements and assess resource availability and allocation.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any potential deviations from the schedule.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project status, including updates on timelines and deliverables.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather information and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential schedule delays.
• Ensure that all planning activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project planning or scheduling.
• Proficient in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
